Worsbrough Common Primary School is a larger than average sized primary school with 468 pupils on role. We have a 52 place nursery for children from the age of three. The school has a specialist resourced provision which caters for 10 pupils who have language and communication needs. School attendance target is 97%. Our current school priorities are improving outcomes, particularly in reading and writing to bring them inline with national averages. School are also working to improve whole school attendance.
It has been so wet this half term that we haven’t been able to go to the woods very much. One of the reasons is because we are trying to look after the woods and not damage the trees and their roots. This afternoon class 4 went to the woods to check that everything was ok.
