Worsbrough Common Primary School is a larger than average sized primary school with 468 pupils on role. We have a 52 place nursery for children from the age of three. The school has a specialist resourced provision which caters for 10 pupils who have language and communication needs. School attendance target is 97%. Our current school priorities are improving outcomes, particularly in reading and writing to bring them inline with national averages. School are also working to improve whole school attendance.
The nursery children have so much fun. We have themes that run through our play from one week to the next, these change a little and are added to as the children bring in new ideas. There are always new things for us to see the children doing. It might be what they’re playing at, who they’re playing with, what they’ve noticed, what they’ve said. It is always a learning…
The development in the play we see from this group of super learners has been amazing through this year. Their language, communication, skills, attitudes , relationships have all developed so much.
