Worsbrough Common Primary School is a larger than average sized primary school with 468 pupils on role. We have a 52 place nursery for children from the age of three. The school has a specialist resourced provision which caters for 10 pupils who have language and communication needs. School attendance target is 97%. Our current school priorities are improving outcomes, particularly in reading and writing to bring them inline with national averages. School are also working to improve whole school attendance.
Our youngest learners came to the woods today. Forest most of these children it was their first time to go to the woods. They were so good getting ready. They listened so well so that we knew how to be safe in the woods. We had the best time! I can’t wait until next time.
This week class 3 are thinking about listening and following instructions. We have been finding out that we can have fun together but that it is important to get ready to listen quickly. These things help us to keep safe and know what we are doing.
